KIMERA SOCIETY PRESENTS:

WOMB MIAMI

For over 20 years since its inception as a pirate house music radio station in Miami Beach, the Womb has stood as a birthplace of electronic music and the introduction of DJs to the world. Today, the Womb has modified its mission to support the rebirth of human tissues in the form of stem cell transplantation for severely injured patients affected by paralysis, inflammatory disease, pain, and cancer.

Featuring a L’acoustics concert sound system used on tour by Depeche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure, Andrea Bocelli and hundreds of other discerning artists, Womb Miami will bring together music minded individuals who want to experience the world’s best DJs in a private environment that directly benefits the treatment of needy patients by Dr. Ross, Dr. Spiel, Dr. Alea, and a network of physicians across the globe.

Since 2012, the Kimera Society has developed leading edge cell-based therapies to treat thousands of patients with diseases ranging from chronic fatigue to paralysis. One of our star patients, 21-year-old Brooke Thabit, has experienced fantastic gains, progressing from a complete wheelchair bound quadriplegic to being able to support her own weight with bar support. Brooke’s cells are so strong when grown in the lab, that their secretions were able to completely heal a second degree burn victim in 7 days when those proteins were applied to his face, leading to an entirely new treatment paradigm.

As we recently obtained our federal public charity status allowing us to accept donations,

we would like the community to help us to continue treating Brooke in attempts to get these growth factors closer to her wound and complete the journey we started together. Over time, these one of a kind private events will lead to the treatment of hundreds of patients without the resources for ongoing intensive treatments as is required in regenerative medicine.

Brooke Thabit dreamt of being a professional surfer, one day while diving into the sea Brooke misjudged the depth of the water and found herself instantly paralyzed. With the help of not only her local community but major brands such as Red Bull, Brooke has strived to regain some of the experiences of a fully capable life. Now, as a college freshmen away from her family in Atlanta, Brooke and her family are ready to continue the struggle towards normalcy and the physicians and scientists of Kimera Labs are ready to help.
